Since October 2022, my stencil designs have found a home at PM Artist Studio, and it all started with a bit of serendipity. As a mixed media artist, I’m always eager to conquer new techniques and explore unfamiliar mediums, so diving into stencil design was a natural next step. My inspiration comes from everywhere—art books, magazines, AI-generated images, nature, and even the work of other artists.
My creative process has evolved over time. My first stencil was painstakingly hand-cut after drawing directly onto synthetic paper with a Sharpie, a process that was both time-consuming and deeply satisfying. In September 2023, I embraced digital drawing with Procreate on an iPad, which allows me the freedom to experiment and refine my designs with ease. The diversity of my stencil collection reflects my eclectic artistic interests and my diverse background, shaped by living overseas during my formative years. Today, I’m thrilled to offer five unique stencils through this collaboration, with more designs on the horizon!
